Free Legal Aid 

Southeast Louisiana Legal Services offers civil legal aid to low income people in Southeast Louisiana. All services are free. SLLS works with government and public service agencies to secure justice for persons in need. These partnerships often result in better long-term solutions for clients.

The People We Help:

SLLS services low income people who live in southeast Louisiana.

The Baton Rouge office helps people in the parishes of Ascension, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Iberville, Pointe Coupee, St. James, St. John the Baptist, West Baton Rouge and West Feliciana.

Our income guidelines vary. You may be eligible if your family income is below 200% of poverty.

Call to see if you qualify. 

SLLS does not handle criminal cases or personal injury lawsuits.

Our Services:
